On Sunday, January 26, 2020, the unveiling and laying (the first in the entire Asti region) of four stumbling stones was held in Vicolo 27 gennaio, for the "Memorial Day".

It is a project by the artist Gunter Demnig who decided to place simple brass blocks, with the names of the deportees, on the thresholds of the houses where they were captured.

The stones that were laid are four, in memory of the four people captured in Moncalvo and barbarically killed in the death camps, namely: Clelia Vitale, born in 1878, arrested on May 24, 1944, deported to Auschwitz and murdered on July 15, 1944; Adua Nunes, born in 1902, arrested on March 21, 1944, deported to Auschwitz and murdered on December 31, 1944; Alberto Colombo, born in 1875, arrested on May 19, 1944, deported to Auschwitz and assassinated on September 1, 1944; Amerigo Colombo, born in 1913, arrested on May 19, 1944, deported to Auschwitz and assassinated on September 1, 1944.

The event was wanted by the Norzi family in collaboration with the Moncalvo municipal Administration.
